Outline of the Membership System
Supporting Membership System has been provided to promote the dissemination
of statistical publications in the field of health and welfare statistics and to contribute
the improved use of health and welfare statistics data.
Under this membership system, organizations, companies and individuals who could
understand the objectives and activities of the Health and Welfare Statistics
Association could obtain the membership.
The members who are able to pay the annual membership charge have the benefits,
such as obtaining all of the publications issued by the Association in the
membership period (for one year), purchasing the electronic statistics data
at discounted (30 percent less) price and having the advice services for
health and welfare statistics.
Regulation of the Supporting Membership System
1 Objectives
Objecives of the membership system are to disseminate the statistical
publications issued by the Association among the members and to contribute
the improved use of health and welfare statistics information.
2 Qualification for the membership
Organizations, companies and individuals that understand the objectives
and activities of the Association, who are able to afford the annual membership
charge of 130,000 yen (Japanese yen, application from abroad)
3 Benefits of the membership
1) Making suggestion and having information on the Association's activities
2) Obtaing all of the publications (excluding electronic data) issued by
the Association at free of charge during the membership period(for one year)
Purchasing our electronic data files at 30 percent discount prices (with
packaging and international shipping charges of 2,000yen)
3) Obtaining the advice services on health and welfare statistics by expert
4) Having the intermediary and duplicated copy services on health and
welfare statistics information
5) Requesting statistical tabulations (with extra charges)
Application to the Membership
Please download the Membership Application Form and send the completed
form by mail.
At the same time, you are kindly requested to send the annual membership
charge of 130,000yen through the bank or Japan Post's Postal Giro Service
in Japan.

Special remarks for the application from the outside of Japan:
In addition to the annual membership charge(130,000yen), extra payment for
packaging and international shipping charges ( 30,000 yen) will be requested
for the enrollment from abroad. It will be used for sending all of our publications
to be published during a year of your membership period.
Payment method of membership charges for application from outside of Japan:
You are requested to pay 160,000 yen (in Japanese yen) per annual as membershp
charge including packaging/shipping charges to abroad and you may make the
payment through the following bank.
